Plot #1:  "Manipulate" (chosen)

It’s a rainy night and a college student just finished their extra classes, unable to protect herself from the raiIt’s a rainy night and a college student just finished their extra classes, unable to protect herself from the rain, the student stood at the gate and waited for the rain to stop. Close to medium shots of the student looking at the rain - which is blurred to put the focus on the student. With nothing to protect him from the rain and the fact that it’s late at night forces him to run home without an umbrella. After he arrived “home”, the house was dark and gives an eerie sense, all illustrated by a long shot between him and the darkness in front of him. In addition, the sound of the wind was added to indicate the sense of isolation in the scene. The next thing he knows that he is is in the wrong house - specifically, a haunted house in his neighborhood. The house was owned by a deceased person and it has been known to manipulate random local people every now and then into mistaken the house as theirs. And the door behind him is locked by a mysterious force. He panicked but chose to remain calm, and saw a map on the shelf nearby that led to a key to unlock the door. Plot #2: "The Pages of Love"

INT. HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY - DAY

The camera pans through a bustling high school library. Students chat and study. We focus on LISA (18), the popular girl, flipping through a book.

NARRATOR (V.O.)

(Lisa is popular and well-known in school.)

INT. HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY - CONTINUOUS

Across the library, JAMES (18), the shy boy, stands hidden among the bookshelves, engrossed in a novel. Lisa approaches the librarian.

LISA

(whispers)

Excuse me, I need this book for my assignment.

LIBRARIAN

Sorry, dear, someone just borrowed it.

Lisa's disappointment grows as she spots James leaving with the book.

INT. HIGH SCHOOL HALLWAY - MORNING

The next day, Lisa finds the same book abandoned in the hallway. She picks it up, intrigued.

NARRATOR (V.O.)

(She found the book she needed, mysteriously abandoned.)

INT. HIGH SCHOOL ASSEMBLY - DAY

The school gathers for an assembly. The principal speaks at the podium.

PRINCIPAL

Today, we'd like to honor one of our exceptional students, James Thompson.

Lisa's eyes widen as she hears James' name, still clutching the borrowed book.

NARRATOR (V.O.)

(As the principal speaks about James, their worlds are about to collide in a story of love waiting to be written.)

The scene fades out, setting the stage for a heartwarming romantic journey between Lisa and James.

Plot #3: "Who are you?"

genre: romantic, drama

The scene starts with the sound of the class bell ringing, and the camera starts focusing on a girl in a high school. After the bell rings to announce that is time for students to go home, she starts packing up and go home as usual like everyday. While the scene of the girl walking to her home, there will be a voiceover of her thinking that why is her life is boring, it juse keep repeating the same everyday because she is kind of introvert and dosen't have much friends at school. The scene change to the next day she walk to school, now, the scene change to a medium close-up shot of a boy is coughing and walking to his school which is the same as the girl. However, the scene only shows from half of his face to below. Suddenly, there is a medium shot of the girl and the boy hitting each other, then it change to a extreme long shot both of them looking at each other and behind of them is their school. The scene is ending as the girl thinking is her head that who is he with a cute smile. ( chill music in the background )

Plot #4: Sacrificial feast

Genre: Thriller, Psychological

Plot:

    We, the food-enthusiast really enjoyed and fascinated the "fine dining" world and the extraordinary taste & texture of the most luxurious dishes that could possibly be found throughout the world. But, little did we know the culinary world is a tragic place where diners eat over the blood and tears of workers. The rot and glamor of society all come together in one place and create the darkest industry on this earth.

    "4 appetizers, 7 entrees, 2 desserts ready in 5 minutes!"

    "Yes, chef!"

    Is there something hidden behind the words of the chefs who seem to be burning with passion? Whether behind all those luxuries are stab wounds, drug abuse, or rotten money used to cover up dirty secrets?

Plot #5: The night before disaster - The great flood inspired (Noah's Ark)

Genre: Fantasy, Action, Thriller

Plot: Everything that happened during 1 week before the Great Flood

    It was a dark night, storms were aggressively hitting houses, and everyone had fallen into a really deep sleep. Meanwhile, far out at sea, there is a giant ship and a small number of people and animals who are hastily preparing furniture and supplies, preparing for the journey to shoulder God's mission. They are the chosen ones. It all started from a dream of a man who could hear God's voice. However, what he received from warning humanity is the scorns from his friends and family

    What exactly is the "mission" he's carrying on? What is the chosen one? What is the God's voice? And is it really just a myth from the Bible?

Setting:

Why we chose Manipulate?

=> the end, our group chose "Manipulate", as it is what our group altogether decided and the horror theme is most of our member's strong points and preferences. We didn't choose the first opening sequence - which is also horror because of the explicitness the movie provides

=> In terms of equipment and props, romance might be better as it doesn't require much to make a stunning project/ opening sequence. However, it is being overused by many groups/individuals. Our group wants to create something different, as well as create eerie and dramatic scenes so the audience can be entertained and remember it for long.
