1st Draft:

 It’s a rainy night and a college student is discussing about the upcoming end of term exam with his teacher.

After he finish his extra classes, he started to pack his things up and go home

Unable to protect himself from the rain, the student stood at the front gate and waited for the rain to stop. 

He called his mum to inform her that he is going to be home in time for dinner

Close to medium shots of the student looking at the rain - which is blurred to put the focus on the student. 

With nothing to protect him from the rain and the fact that it’s late at night forces him to run home without an umbrella. 

After he arrives “home”, the house is dark and gives an eerie sense, all illustrated by a long shot between him and the darkness in front of him. 

The next thing he knows he is in the wrong house - specifically, a haunted house in his neighborhood. 

The house was owned by a deceased person and it has been known to manipulate random local people every now and then into mistaking the house as theirs.

The door behind him is locked by a mysterious force. 

He panicked but chose to remain calm

He saw a map on the shelf nearby that led to a key to unlock the door to get out. 

He needs to hurry though, because someone is coming to say hi…

2nd draft

Int - School
It’s late at night and a college student is discussing about the upcoming end of term exam with his teacher.
After he finish his extra classes, he started to pack his things up and go home

Ext - The street
The college student went home with some of his friends who's house is along the way.
On the way home, his friends told him rumours about an old haunted house in the neighborhood where the college student lives.

Int - Hunted house
After he arrives “home”, the house is dark and gives an eerie sense, all illustrated by a long shot between him and the darkness in front of him. 
The next thing he knows he is in the wrong house - specifically, a haunted house in his neighborhood. 
The house was owned by a deceased person and it has been known to manipulate random local people every now and then into mistaking the house as theirs.
It takes shape of their actual house from the outside, then the inside of the house shifts into the haunted house's.
The door behind him is locked by a mysterious force. 
He panicked but chose to remain calm
He saw a map on the shelf nearby that led to a key to unlock the door to get out. 
He needs to hurry though, because someone is coming to say hi…

Script development 

-We excluded the rain out, because the raining season at our city/country has ended, and will have to wait until May for it to start, which is past the deadline of submission.

-The conversation with his mum on the phone was also excluded, because it took to much screentime in the opening sequence, and is not a relationship that is relevant until later in the story.
